The OptixCam Pinnacle series of USB microscope cameras offer CCD sensors and a corresponding greater color sensitivity than their CMOS Summit Series cousins. Characterized by bright, saturated color with good dynamic range, they are designed for industrial and scientific applications where color differentiation is important; Applications such as pathology, fluorescence microscopy and metallurgical inspection. It includes a protective aluminum case with mini-cell foam interior. As with all OptixCam microscope cameras, the Pinnacle series boast good image quality at a reasonable price level. Accurate color resolution as well as a large color palette for improved color resolution and sensitivity, robust measuring software, fast refresh rates, full screen live imaging and user-friendly, image capture round out the embedded features. Finally, with four included mounts (C-Mount, C-Mount adapter for a 23.2mm eyepiece port, 30mm, 30.5mm collars for eyepiece ports), these cameras provide terrific flexibility in that they will fit almost any microscope. see details
